If you’re okay with sex and aren’t repulsed, why does it have to be scheduled?
Normally, romantic evenings and dates lead to sex, would that be enough of a “schedule”?
I.e. you have a romantic evening with your partner, and he is making moves to escalate, so you know he has “needs” tonight.

I think I keep having the same deja vu for at least three years now. That, or these execs are fucking liars telling the same lie for the past 3 years.

- Comment on Google’s Sundar Pichai says the job of CEO is one of the ‘easier things’ AI could soon replace 3 days ago:
AI is advancing so swiftly, he said, that over the next 12 months the tech will be able to perform “complex” tasks and act as an agent on a users’ behalf.
I must be having the same deja vu for a hundredth time. What a clown.

- Comment on Cloudfare outage post mortem 5 days ago:
What are the chances they started using AI to automate some of this and that’s the real reason. It sounds like no human was involved in breaking this.

Maybe once they find it, they can figure out how it interacts with the material world. They haven’t found it yet

It is very much needed for their war propaganda. They need to show the citizens and the world, that despite all the sanctions they are still able to achieve and match technological advancements of the west. But obviously they failed miserably in that.

Some boredom is good, but too much and it’s depressing, and induces anhedonia
So you struggle with a 10 minute walk without music because that causes too much boredom for you?

All I’m saying is it’s clearly a big issue for you nor being constantly simulated if you took the time to create a whole post about this and answer every other stranger’s comment and you need to address that. Meditation is just one of the options, the best one IMO.

- Comment on Linux gamers on Steam finally cross over the 3% mark 2 weeks ago:
And I assume running wine adds overhead and makes games run slower?
So I can only run pirated games by going through extra hoops and even then the level of success is varying?
See that’s what’s been preventing me from switching to linux for years and years and it seems this hasn’t changed really :(
- Comment on Linux gamers on Steam finally cross over the 3% mark 2 weeks ago:
I was always under the assumption that I cannot run Windows games on Linux, and that in order for games to work on Linux they need to be compiled for Linux and not windows.
All the pirated games are windows games. I haven’t seen pirated games for Linux specifically.
So do I understand correctly that I can download pirated games for windows and run them on Linux?

- Comment on I spent 18 months training generative AI – here’s what I learned 3 weeks ago:
I got offered to train AI too, tried it and hated it.
The pay was similar to my day job, but it was the most boring and tedious job I’ve done as a software developer without ANY other benefits of working for a company.
Plus I was selling my YEARS worth of studying and gained knowledge and experience for what I realised are peanuts, because once I’m replaced by the AI I trained I won’t have earned enough money to last me till my end of days, but these fucking billionaires will be making billions from that.

- Comment on Reddit’s CEO Debuts As A Billionaire 20 Years After Cofounding The Company 3 weeks ago:
That’s because they sold and continue to sell ALL the user generated data on the platform.
That’s why people can no longer express their opinions there like calling Trump an orange turd or Elon a Nazi will get you immediately banned.
- Comment on Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the USA? 3 weeks ago:
Unfortunately by sanctioning the US, they would be sanctioning themselves. The world just needs to wait for the orange madman to destroy the US economy, which is well on the way.
