Oh, the horror. DDG is only better because it’s not the big G, otherwise it returns the same nonesense search optimized slop. If your data is not important, russian site yandex gives different hits (def better for the high seas). There’s also a paid websearch (forgot the name) that seems legit.
Internet is dead.

So, this is basically how they retconned Jet into an ensign.
He was first introduced as a lieutenant with two pips, and the second picture OP posted is basically saying that it was actually just delicious street corn on his collar, not a second pip.
I hope this cleared things up.

IDDQD, IDKFA, ⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️B,A,Start, are the ones I know off the top of my head. Tons of people don’t want to grind, just sandbox, so you get city and people sims with infinite cash codes.
I guess what I’m getting at is, if they weren’t called cheat codes, would it even be considered cheating? Cheating usually involves someone being harmed or cheated out of something (money, love). Are there any victims in this case (strictly single player, of course)? I’d argue that you even lose out if you aren’t using codes, cuz you might say ‘fuck it’, and just move on to another thing (like your Terraria example).
Heck, we might as well tie this up with something modern and political, like right to repair. If you bought the software, you should be free to manipulate it, all the way up to (but not including) distributing your version for money. Single player cheating is about as harmful as nice masturbation sesh.

Yeah, I think it’s more of a problem of you mansplaining (sorry if you don’t identify :)) something that you are not directly going through.
I don’t think you’re necessarily coming from a bad place, but after reading mech’s comment on blahaj, it looks like you tried to toe a line and grossly miscalculated.
If you really want back with this account, you probably want to let it simmer a bit. Take some time thinking about what you can learn from and contribute to the community, and message a mod or two (maybe they have a dl) when you figure it out. I wouldn’t bother with trying to explain the situation.
- Comment on Is there a formalized ban appeal process for the fediverse? Do I just direct message a mod? 5 weeks ago:
I had to google TERF, but I am familiar with the overall notion (I heard about it from gay circles).
So I think I’m missing context. If OP reacted unkindly to someone facing these issues IRL, banhammer was in place. Just talking about these stuff shouldn’t be tabu, because of tolerance.
That being said, if blahaj is a safe zone for the lgbtq+ folk, OP has only themselves to blame. I accidentally commented on a lemmygrad circlejerk thread with ‘well, akshually…’ and I was torn a new butthole. Even though my argument had merit, it wasn’t the right place for it.
Thanks again for the details. Lemmy is wild.

Thanks for the reply. I see I am going against the grain here, so apologies if this comes through as hard-headed, but I still don’t get the violation.
Was the problem that OP was talking in general about the importance of being able to give birth? It doesn’t seem to diss trans or sterile people, just mentions that it can be important. Or is OP saying it is important, and that’s the problem?
- Comment on Is there a formalized ban appeal process for the fediverse? Do I just direct message a mod? 5 weeks ago:
Was OP being shitty with their comment?
I guess birthing is a hot topic or maybe even a dog whistle in the anti-trans community. Just from OP’s deleted comments, I’d say they weren’t hating.

I do understand. I find myself having to regularly check myself to look for miscommunication instead of malice (or stupidity for that matter).
The whole thing is whack, and anyone with two cents of mind and some compassion is just gaping at the horrors being casually thrown around and equally horrifying misdirections.
Thanks to the internet the only way to hide stuff is to drown it out, but we all have our trusted sources (who in turn distort reality in an infotaining world, but that’s where we’re at). This means we can more or less put the big picture together (or at least the players) and make fairly solid guesstimates.
I tell myself this is an all or nothing attempt by the ruling class to legitimize a strangle hold before any major resource wars break out and that people are really wisening up to their shenanigans. I feel ‘doomerism’ is an aspect where they can easily get me. Don’t let them win.

I do appreciate the time and effort you put into the comment, but I am not arguing against what you are saying.
Since Kinsey &co and the summer of love, the movement didn’t evaporate, it perforated society and mutated. I don’t think I’d be going too far by stating, that the sexual revolution couldn’t have happened without the suffragettes. I see the queer movement as a spearhead in the same direction.
I only had qualm with you saying anything has been undone (sorry if I’m paraphrasing). Yeah, using ‘woke’ as a pejorative for anyone craving progress is a thing now, but that doesn’t mean most of us want nothing more than to love each other freely.

Was it erased? We are more comfortable with porn than ever (which I wouldn’t say is okay, but definitely not prudish), and after the jews, the biggest boogie man out there is the gender lobby.
I say we’re in the next phase, and moderators (Visa, Mastercard) need to buckle up for what’s coming.
