Nah, I think they’re saying that their corporate offerings and jobs in a given country would not contribute to GDP, while failing to address that developers and engineers would still be necessary to implement these open source applications, though Google won’t get to siphon money out of those economies. It’s purposely convoluted, basically Google throwing a temper tantrum.

Let’s be real here, if CA had their way, the only guns citizens would be legally allowed to own are muzzleloaders/muskets, and even then those would be heavily regulated.
I swear, CA becomes more of a nanny state by the day, and unfortunately, many people in LA and SF just nod in smug approval.

Or, and hear me out here, we’re really trying to not give dipshit the ammo he needs to deploy the military against us. Because when that happens, it’s game over.

Eh, I sometimes think that had I not ridden the magic carpet back in the day, I’d probably would not have progressed nearly as much in life.

Makes sense for the overdrive push on the Christianity angle. It’s just obnoxious to someone who’s going pretty damn secular.

Yeah right. Almost half the people I talk to are not happy but are burning their heads in the sand and waiting/hoping for this to blow over. It can’t happen here and all that.

that building datacenters in space is therefore necessary as only limitless solar energy can power all the AI humans want to work with
Funny, considering the majority of us don’t give a rat’s ass about AI.
Maybe Elmo should man that space station data center himself, and hopefully its positioning boosters launch him and his death star towards Mars.

How in the world did you draw that conclusion? I’m merely pointing out that they’re discriminating on skin color alone, but that wasn’t an advocacy against a passport card.

He rhetoric aside, the paper reads like it was written at the middle school level. The entence structure is terrible, ideas are not exactly the most coherent, and the bulk of the thought process flows like a squirrel having an anuerism. Like yeah, have your opinions, but present them in a way that at least fakes a college-level analysis, not something that you’d post on your Facebook wall.

Because New Years isn’t about boosting sales of consumer goods.
