It goes for anything with sorbitol in it, which prunes are high in, humans are generally not able to process it which leads to a bowel movement or gas

Yeah a lot of propaganda isn’t about any one agenda it’s about people losing their bearings on reality, cutting people loose to create chaos

It’s incredibly remote, flying from the US it’ll take you about 24 hours to set foot on Bora Bora proper but you’ll be in Tahiti in like ~18 hours if you leave from the west coast, so no it’s definitely not accessible basically at all, but you can boat between the islands to a degree once you get there. The ancient Polynesians and their methods for crossing vast distances over water truly are awe inspiring.

I got married in Bora Bora, it was after I spent six months in the ICU and we said fuck it we getting married, going on vacation and honeymooning all at once - Bora Bora is paradise on earth and one of the very few places I’ve ever been, along with Corsica where the hype and reality actually matched. It’s remote enough there’s not really any “overly touristy” issues, especially on bora bora which is not the main island of Tahiti. I’m sure Maupiti is absolutely incredible but there’s literally not a single reason to go to bora bora

I would t consider using more technologically advanced and appropriate materials to be a “problem” I live on a fault line in wildfire country, I have zero interest in living in a stone or concrete house that will fall down and kill everyone, I want a quake rated home, which must be wood, and as far as wildfire, gypsum dryway is fire resistant and part of our fire code.
No one uses styrofoam but high tech high efficiency foam insulation does exist and works far better than stone, brick or concrete while also maintaining breathability
- Comment on It was all a lie, wasn't it? 2 weeks ago:
That’s another reason drywall is used, it’s pretty fire resistant. Where I live all exposed beams must be wrapped in drywall for fire safety

1 in 4 sounds more than ~25% but it’s 25% that’s a minority that feel this way, it’s not a reflection of most of our realities. Yes the cost of living is too high but ~75% don’t feel we need $150,000 to be comfortable

He’s right to feel uncomfortable because it’s inappropriate. My kids are 19 and 21 and while I am hopeful/happy for them to have intimate adult relationships they find fulfilling I don’t have any interest in those relationships happening under my roof with what is essentially a stranger. My son has been in a relationship with a nice young woman for about a year and a half and while I would have no issue with them sharing a room I wouldn’t want my 19 year old sharing her room with a freshly found boyfriend or vice versa, it is intimate and I care about the quality of my kids relationships and if they’re dating someone who doesn’t respect that I don’t want causal sex going on in my house I don’t know how quality this person they’re dating even is… for me, as the parent in this situation is that this feels way too much like casual sex which I feel isn’t in most people’s best interests. Hook up else where and figure it out six months down the road
- Comment on ‘FuckLAPD.com’ Lets Anyone Use Facial Recognition to Instantly Identify Cops 2 weeks ago:
That’s a fair concern to a degree of course even the most fair sentences might have a disgruntled person on the other end of it but a fair justice system that serves and protects its community equally has little to fear overall. When a justice system is unfair, unequal, does not serve or protects its community that risk goes way up however they only have themselves to blame for the increased risk. An occasional crazy is just the price of being a human but if the public in general is against you, you’ve done that to yourself through your own actions
