I actually do have gay friends, believe it or not. I live in Manhattan, I have friends from every possible social group and walk of life. But I can’t just “be gay” lol!

Listen, I am not trans; I don’t think I’d have the courage it takes. It’s definitely a very difficult path. The post was just meant to highlight that it’s hard to find someone that cares.

I haven’t asked directly if they care, but anytime I try to explain anything related to a possible emotional state I might be experiencing I tend to get shut down really hard? Or people just ignore it completely

Is this good? I can’t help but think it’s just another datapoint for google to scrape

Is this good? I can’t tell if it’ll just be used as one more invasive information gathering data points for Amazon and google

Well the good thing is info storage cost and processing power tends to increase over time, so that’s one side of their argument handled; and things tend to keep progressing technologically over time, so I’d assume 8k would eventually replace 4k, and so on and so on; but the human eye does have a limit to what it can resolve- so at some point 2d images will probably just be as good as we need them to be

DOGE employees should be executed by firing squad. In fact, we should bring back a whole bunch of capital punishments- hanging, beheading, drawing and quartering, burning at the stake; unless you meet the fascists at their level you’ll never scare them enough to keep their political views private. Like what happened to Mussolini was TOO GOOD for every single person involved in the executive branch right now.

In fact, it seems like all Info and Tech companies really hopped in line with Trump like fucking right away and I’m worried that not even that critical mass of 3-4% of the country is even able to protest, much less if that many people even want to

Probably more protections in blue states I’m guessing
- Comment on HR people smiling at you thinking that you are a complete moron 4 weeks ago:
HR lady once spit a whole ass pack of lies about my work performance, and had cut off my email access so I couldn’t prove her wrong, which would have been trivially easy. Realized before I spoke up that if the HR director is lying this bad, there’s no reason to even try to “prove” I’m right, just a really toxic company.

Yeah you can. You forfeit UI if you quit voluntarily. You’d only lose it if you got fired for doing something illegal, I think

The cut would be more successful with more broccoli and no rice, IMO. I’ve had decent success with eliminating all carbs and starches. But for god’s sake use some fucking spices

State sponsored capitalism is what everyone does. The only reason Tesla even exists is because of US government support

I mean it’s really funny you asked permission to call me dumb, lol. “Carbon footprint” was a term invented by BP. The red meat industry is a methane polluter, but while we can estimate how much methane a cow produces, the oils and gas industry have no idea how much they lose. like they don’t even keep track of how much methane gets just wastefully vented into the atmosphere. youtu.be/K2oL4SFwkkw

Until Exxon and BP are no longer in business and global shipping transitions to zero emissions, there is nothing an individual human can do that will have an impact in any way on global climate. They problem is systemic, not individual

There is no goal other than to keep taking. They couldn’t stop even if they wanted to. It only ends when life becomes so miserable for enough people that violence becomes the only answer
