- Comment on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. First time pay attention to the songs and I cried. This is the game that I cry over so many times. This is what I think about the game. Spoiler alert 1 week ago:
The music, story and art harmonizes in a way that caused me to sit and be sad for hours. The melancholy environment, the inevitability of death and the sorrow love eventually causes. It’s so fucking beautiful!
Just the start, losing Sophie to the gommage, the setting and music ties it all so damn well together. It’s beautiful and tremendously sad. The whole thing is such a masterpiece of what games can achieve. A game where the gameplay isn’t the best or groundbreaking, but combined with the art, music, tone and story, it flies up to one of the best games in recent years. If not more.

It hits the road in America. And considering the state of that country, this isn’t even near the list of problems atm.

Discussing language and using English to do so, is hysterically ironic. “Is that how you pronounce it? I’ve only ever seen it written!”

They’re doing it again! Bungie has fallen far, completely incompetent management.
- Comment on Nintendo Anti-Piracy Policy Device Lock Update Warns of Console Bricks for Unauthorized Use 3 weeks ago:
I’d love to see Nintendo try this in Norway! Completely and wholly illegal consumer practice. It’s incredibly hostile and would only work in countries where corporations have stronger rights than humans.
- Comment on Google’s dominance on search is declining – for the first time ever! 5 weeks ago:
I switched when the answers I got started to become bullshit. I’d google a simple question just to double check if it was correct, but it gave me something completely different. Something so out of the realm of possibility that I was baffled.
I check the sources for the answer and they were not even related. After that I started paying more attention to how messed up google had become, and I had enough.
Google scholar however is still something I need… even though I dislike American corporations.
- Comment on A French law requiring adult sites to run age checks( facial age estimation, ...etc) and block users under 18 became applicable to sites based in France and outside of the EU. 1 month ago:
Again, what is your point? That having laws makes you not free? That’s something we all know, it’s not something you have discovered all by yourself.
It’s a basic societal understanding that if we live in a society there will be laws to stop bad shit from happening.
But you seem to think stopping predators is limiting your freedom. It’s such a stupid argument. But you don’t get that.

I don’t know. I might build a new PC, and make this one a steambox. SteamOS does sound VERY exciting, and I haven’t ever been excited for an OS.

- Comment on Online ‘Pedophile Hunters’ Are Growing More Violent — and Going Viral: With the rise of loosely moderated social media platforms, a fringe vigilante movement is experiencing a dangerous evolution. 2 months ago:
In Norway last year we had a case where 5 16-19 yo set up a sextrap for a guy in his 40s.
The teens claimed he’s a pedo, beat him, filmed it and posted it online.
All of the “pedohunters” involved were found guilty on all accounts. The guy is free and getting a big pay out from the teens.
It’s really unfortunate, but these kinds of people aren’t in it to prevent child abuse. They’re in it for themselves.
