Trendsnewsline? Any attempt to locate or open doesn’t work. Lots of warnings saying it’s a scam site. I’m out of my element here. Maybe someone can shed light on what’s up with this site/story. trendsnewsline.com/…/anonymous-leaks-10tb-of-data…
Original Reddit post:
Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/worldnews.
Not sure why it says that when it’s still accessible. Adding old before reddit, notice doesn’t appear but it does have flair: Not a News Article old.reddit.com/…/anonymous_releases_10tb_of_leake…
u/civilservant2011 comments on it extensively. old.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/…/mnebxnl/
I have downloaded the archive. Its around 20Gbs Compressed. Has a compression rate of 84 percent (so I doubt it is actually 10TBs) - I havent decompressed the whole archive, rather viewing the archive and extracting individual files as needed.
I have scanned the archive with 2 different tools. No vulns or malware detected.
Mostly the information in the archive is specific to individual companies in Russia with folders for them and random PDFs for each company.
There is a lot of individual folders for people like Musk, Trump, Poilievre etc but they just contain some reports from Web application scans against Twitter users (including IP address’s)
This archive may be useful to the UKR armed forces since there are hundreds of PDF on defense companies in russia.
I cant read Russian so my translation of files is slow. So far I haven’t seen any secrets that UKR intel probably doesn’t already know.
Interesting archive though.

I don’t know what to make of any of this. Was more interested in trying to confirm the article source.
u/theseabaron asks:
Anyone else having trouble seeing that link?
u/catbaloney replies:
Yes. It’s also not showing up in other mainstream news feeds too.
u/Expensive_Watch_435 might be onto something here:
The page is getting DDOS’d. Meaning, yeah the list is probably fuckin real

Nope. Just ludicrous propositions to terrorize everyone on the planet.
- Comment on If the USA and China goes to war, how likely will Chinese-Americans end up in "internment camps" like what happened to Japanese-Americans during WW2? 1 week ago:
Form a well-regulated militia. It’s what they’ve been telling us to do.
The Founding generation understood that large standing armies were dangerous threats to liberty, especially when controlled by authoritarian governments who sought to disarm the general population.

Pretty sick of these kinds of doomsdayers rolling over and spreading panic instead of focusing on calling out all the bullshit. Not that that’s even an effective approach. What needs to be repeated over and over is the obvious failures in simple enough terms they can become mantras, slogans, ways of beating the propagandists at their own game. We’re more creative and smarter than them yet we let ourselves lose the propaganda war. Well, not us per se, but legacy media and feckless Democrats.

Somebody got a call from Tim Apple. So much for the clamor to make iPhones in the US. More American jobs vaporized, just like that.

All Americans & all people in or attempting to enter America are in danger of being disappeared now.

Coyotes can only turn children into tricksters. Get that kid onto the moors, where proper wolves come from.

Surely a Seinfeld episode covers this. New Yorkers are the worst offenders.

How do readers access Ghost? I got sucked into a trial membership but I don’t intend to publish, just read, like I can do on substack. I don’t want to be on the problematic platform but can’t figure out how to gradually use Ghost instead, especially since hardly anyone’s over there yet.

I’m following everyone from substack and every other damn resource on RSS. Nothing dead about it. Maybe someone is unhappy with their particular way of accessing it? I’ve used Feedly ever since Google ruined their own reader. Google abandoned a lot of things during that period of innovation.
