Yes. IIRC it’s based on latest LTS kernel with Google patches. So it’s been “year of the Linux phone” for a while now.
It’s unfortunate that the slop they put on top of it is such a privacy nightmare. PostmarketOS is trying to change that and supports Plasma, Gnome, etc. But it’s early days yet and still rough around the edges from what I’ve been reading.

Eh, it can work with artificial light. I’ll just convert my gaming room to a grow house.

“We’re done with Teams!” he said, referring to Microsoft’s messaging and collaboration tool and speaking on a video call – via an open-source German program, of course.
The article didn’t elaborate much, but I’m sure there are other articles that will point us to a link to the source.

You’re a good friend. I wish everyone has someone like this. I have a very small group of mates where I can be vulnerable without being judged. But not everyone are as privileged, unfortunately…

No. But when the options are either:
- Shitty friends who have better things to do than hearing you vent,
- Paying $400/hr to talk to a psychologist, or
- A free AI that not only pays attention to you, but actually remembers what you told them last week,
it’s quite understandable that some people choose the one that is a privacy nightmare but keeps you sane and away from some dark thoughts.

Am I reading the article wrong? Is it not a good thing that they refused to comply with the hostile anti-encryption law?

I just checked and nearly choked. I’ve played every single Civ game ever made. As much as I love the series, there’s no way in hell I’m paying AU$160 for a base game.
