I mean, yes, but also, in the OP statement “after his conviction.”
As in, after we knew what he was doing, why would peoppe ever associate with him again.
Its not even some weird ass “gray area” thing where you are an 18 year old in HS dating a 16 year old at your HS. Its literally sex trafficking of very minor minors.
- Comment on Kate Mulgrew Defends ‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ And Captain Ake From “Disrespectful” Online Attacks 1 week ago:
Yeah, Burnham could have been better and she was the center too much. I like Discovery as a show, but I hate it as Star Trek because it actively goes out of its way eschew so many baseline Trek Tropes, the biggest and most obvious being the Spore Drive. It feels like the writers were like “We don’t want to deal with the time issues of Warp travel.”. Then they extended this to the personal transports, which at least made sense as it was the 32nd century.
- Comment on Kate Mulgrew Defends ‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ And Captain Ake From “Disrespectful” Online Attacks 1 week ago:
The irony is that honestly, Academy feels way less “woke” than any of the other new Trek stuff. Its way less “in your face” about everything these annoying jokers call woke about Discovery or even Strange New Worlds.
- Comment on The great RAMaggedon of 2026 might have just claimed the Steam Deck 2 weeks ago:
I dount they see it that way. More fingers and lockdown means more DRM. I feel like alot of things like removing headphone jacks and pushing to more data connection and not just video for monitors is part of a lomg term attempt to kill the “analog hole”.
- Comment on Why do they turn Federation into a dystopia? 2 weeks ago:
I mean, that point about seperating a mother and child, kind of forms the entire basis of the show as its what drive Captain Ake to come head the new Starfleet Academy. She feels like complete shit that it happened and wants Starfleet to be better in its rebirth.
And technically, Academy IS a “dystpian setting” because they had the galaxy wide apocalypse event that was The Burn that obliterated every warp drive and collapsed everything but it sounds like you didn’t watch Discovery so you may have missed that.

Bing is basically the only search engine that doesn’t actively censor our porn results. Its impossible to find videos for shit on Google even with “safe search” turned off.
- Comment on Neocities founder stuck in chatbot hell after Bing blocked 1.5 million sites 3 weeks ago:
Yes. I want an old school sewrch engine that JUST does blogs and small websites. And no “Big News Website Blogs”. Just random people on Wordpress and Blogger, etc.
I was browsing a Geocities archive the other day and its just like, fuck I miss when the web was just fun and random people making dumb websites about random shit.

Also, for many of these people, do not underestimate the underlying religous issue. In the case of vaccines, its becomes some sort of “mark of the beast” nonsense. See also the dumb “microchips in the vaccines” stupidity.
- Comment on Chasing the Elephant 2 months ago:
I am.pretty sure the only “cause” is that society has become more open and accepting in general so people who have these various “new issues” that idiots like to boogeyman over are just, not supressing themselves as much or you know, suiciding over society treating them like shit as much.
- Comment on sushi delivery 3 months ago:
I did this once. I didn’t realize it was sushi though.
I was outnof town, training for work. My meals were paid. I decided "That tuna is $20, but I am not paying it so why not.
It was raw.
So I cooked it in the hotel room.

Not like Law and Order, which pushes, among other things, my biggest gripe, “Look, don’t make me go get a warrant.” Like no, go get your warrant, do it right."

Eh, not really. It way more grounded that moat Copaganda shows like Law and Order. Funny too at times, since its a pseudo comedy series.

Nobody gives a shit about the endless holy land war. It sucks that people are dying, but they have basically always been dying because everyone thinks their stupid Sky Daddy Book is the best.
Killing the US over this stupid bull shit is honestly, worse than killing it over the GOP’s shitty policies.
- Comment on What even is money at this point 4 months ago:
Thats likely too. I will say, as someone who works in telcom, the whole Geofenced ads and cpupons idea was something being pitched like, 10+ years ago. I don’t know if it ever panned out, but it was pushed. The other part was getting say, your Lowes app to ping you with a 5% off coupon for that thing you have been standing in front of pondering for ten minutes.
