- Comment on Online ‘Pedophile Hunters’ Are Growing More Violent — and Going Viral: With the rise of loosely moderated social media platforms, a fringe vigilante movement is experiencing a dangerous evolution. 3 days ago:
I had a friend who was visiting Florida, and this vigilante group from some church setup a Grindr account to catch gay men. They made a profile of a guy in his 20s, had convos and planned to meet, then asked him to talk on some other platform, where his profile said he was underage. Keep in mind, this is just a fictional person. And the Florida court loves to toss LGBT in jail, so beware out there.

- Comment on What is happening with Tesla (TSLA) stock currently? 📈 1 week ago:
From what I’ve heard, the tariffs affecting cars/autos will impact other manufacturers. There are always day traders looking to make a few bucks from a bounce.
Personally, I expect Tesla to crash after the next quarterly report (probably in late April). I’m curious to see how Rivian stock goes, it might stabilize from so many looking for an EV alternative.

Whenever someone mentioned these services to me, I would respond that I didn’t trust them, and was often called paranoid. Maybe I just don’t trust large companies with my most private data, and I don’t know why others would.

- Comment on The Volkswagen ID. EVERY1 is an affordable EV for the masses 4 weeks ago:
It’s totally fine if it works for people, but I regularly drive long distance, and limited range means planning everything around that.
I have been looking at aptera, which might have longer range due to being aerodynamic and efficient. That’s what I want to see offered more for EVs. Problem is, it’s not a reality until it’s available for sale.

155 mile range, well that’s a local commuter car, that’s it. The masses need things besides a local commuter car.

It’s not like Microsoft has their finger on the pulse of technology advancement, they only got involved with AI to seem relevant, and now it’s not worth doing anymore.

Figure out what feels the most rewarding, and spend more time doing that. Learning a musical instrument, making art, or whatever else. Also, maybe get a pet.
