- Comment on Bad experience on selfhosting nextcloud 1 week ago:
Speeds weren’t too bad for me, but setting it up was a pain. Even when AIO came out, I spent hours trying to get it right. After several years and tearing it down and rebuilding because something would get messed up, and realizing it was nearly impossible to get it to work with Tailscale instead of a reverse proxy, I decided it was time to throw in the towel. Nextcloud parades as a product anyone can use, but in practice it feels like it was meant for enterprise users.

- Comment on Dead Cells 2 doesn't exist because its devs would rather make what they want than listen to external pressures 1 month ago:
They made and released half a dozen DLC expansions. They did everything they wanted. In my mind they already made a Dead Cells 2, Dead Cells 3… They made all the Dead Cells. There are no more Dead Cells.

The bar was set so low by the remaster that this will undoubtedly do well.

The campaign is more or less the tutorial. Otherwise, you set your own goals. Like unlocking new building materials, buying a new ship, stuff like that. It’s a sandbox. A very good one at that.

My partner and I call them all “noods”. “Let’s make noods later”, “want some noods?”, “these are my favorite noods”.

Watch the announcement be “we’re still working on it” then that’s it for the next four years.
- Comment on Imagine being a billionaire, running one the most powerful, corporations in the United States, and prostrating yourself to Donald Trump in this very public and embarrassing way. 3 months ago:
This is my own conjecture, but I’m willing to bet that playing nicely with Pres. Trump somehow saves Apple billions in lost revenue to tariffs and legislation because Trump rewards those who are on his good side. I’m also willing to bet Tim Apple is pressured to do this and has a very different attitude behind closed doors. Not that this excuses anybody for their actions, but it’s clear they’re trying to game the system the best they can in the name of “business”.

- Comment on Here's a hot take about Sekiro 11 months ago:
Crazy thing is, Wukong plays like a giant boss rush. Yet I adore it because the difficulty is so incredibly honed in and boss attacks are so well projected. Sounds like Sekiro didn’t refine their difficulty quite well enough.
- Comment on Here's a hot take about Sekiro 11 months ago:
I love the game, but did admittedly struggle for one reason: regular enemies are pretty easy, then you’ll be hit with a boss that stonewalls you. There’s no build up in difficulty. Enemies = trivial. Bosses = ludicrous. Additionally bosses are often a battle of attrition, and I don’t have the sanity to last several minutes engaged in the same attack pattern.
