- Comment on For considerably less than the price of the Super Deluxe Edition of Boarderlands 4. I have almost all of Assassins Creed on one box. 2 days ago:
Origins > Odyssey IMO. Better story, better pacing.

Its just bizarre to think about how awful trying to accurately convey an order verbally over shitty audio quality must have been

- Comment on First methane-powered sea spiders found crawling on the ocean floor 5 days ago:
I mean, they’re on the sea floor. They more than likely cant possibly survive depressurizing to get on land.
- Comment on Are drink coasters for people who frequently spill their drink or have trouble drinking without dribbling down the cup? 6 days ago:
They are to prevent condensation from damaging the surface beneath them.

- Comment on Spicy food never affects my gut and everyone thinks it's really weird. How unusual is this and what could be happening to explain why spicy food doesn't affect me? 1 week ago:
Same. Unless there’s another thing eaten with it causing intestinal distress (lactose intolerance or especially greasy food), I’m fine.
I have legitimately gassed out my parents house with airborn capsaicin making salsa (also, don’t rinse out a cooking pot using steaming hot water, folks!) using some unusually potent habaneros and scorpion peppers. Great way to clear your sinuses, lingered for a couple days though
- Comment on Hmmm this came from the gutter of the gutter of my mind. You have been warned. 1 week ago:

- Comment on The spirit of Far Cry 2 still burns in Rescue Ops, a sandbox firefighting sim with huge wilderness maps 5 weeks ago:
Fuckin loved Far Cry 2, but primarily for the difficulty (smart as hell enemy AI that will fan out in the direction of a noise instead of all taking the same pathing) and the immersive UI choices (like the “physical” map instead of a pause screen). The fire was cool on occasion too though
- Comment on We Study Fascism at Yale. We’re Leaving the U.S. 5 weeks ago:
Have to go pretty far up the family tree for that, sadly; they most likely came here on a wooden ship. Based on some hereditary physical traits, we’re from somewhere around France and Spain. I’m descended from Oklahoma great depression poor folk on one side and a mix of military and tradesmen on the other.

A large amount of the US has some combination of weather and wildlife that makes line drying clothing untenable. So… no?
