I saw that on our calendar this year and laughed. The company i work for had a huge influx of buisness for a year or two, but they mismanaged the hell out of the profits. With everything going to shit this year they had to let go of over half the company, including my husband just days before his hire date anniversary when he would have gotten more vacation days and his yearly raise… Yeah…boss…i dont have many reasons to be thankful this “bosses day”

…and the call back ring tones. For about 5 years i hated calling one person in particular because id have to listen to Hey, Soul Sister every…fricken…time.

Alot. Which is a shame because the app used to be decent a little over a decade ago. I remember using it back in highschool before the gamification and, without paying, it would let you access community forums, review lessons, and a lot of other features now locked behind a paywall or gone entirely.
I still remember when the heart system was first introduced and getting pissed that i had to essentially get everything right to keep moving forward in the lesson or pay to refill my hearts. I uninstalled when it became 3 wrong answers and youre done for the day without payment.

I uninstalled the app years ago and still see this in the play store.
- Comment on Elden Ring's player engagement is through the roof: 45% of its Steam players have played for 100+ hours 5 months ago:
Almost 200hrs in, level 150, and im maybe 3/4 done. I was never interested in soul like games before, or video games in general, but something about the open world experience in elden ring just pulled me in. I honestly couldnt tell you most of the story or the boss names, but god damn it was and still is a fucking blast grinding out the fights to figure out the mechanics.
- Comment on What vacuum should I buy for 66% carpets in 1500sqft condo? Sub $500 6 months ago:
I dont usually have a strong sense of brand loyalty, but I absolutely love Shark. We replaced our hoover commercial with a shark pet vaccuum and it has been amazing. We later got the shark pet carpet cleaner because our small bissel just fell apart one day and love that, too.
But, I think Shark is an Americam brand.

For me, yes, but thats because im a heavy search engine user and like the customization features. We pay for the duo plan for both my husband and I. My husband doesnt use it much, maybe a handful of searches a week, but me on the otherhand I far exceed the free search limit with how often I search for things. I also love having the ability to block, lower, or raise a specific site in my results. Very satisfying to open up a shit site, see its shit, and then block it from ever appearing in my search results again.

When we replaced our computers years ago we used the old parts to build a low-spec, but functional, computer to hook up to the TV. Paired with a wireless mouse/keyboard we dont really notice a difference in ease of use compared to a streaming device.

Eh, who needs quality? I took this a little over ten years ago and it still makes me laugh for some reason.
