Oh they’re targeted There’s even a term for it. It’s called whaling.
About punishment though, do companies normally “punish” people for being victims of a cyberattack? I could see them maybe make you take some cyber security training.
If they fired you, I wonder if the company would worry you might sue them for wrongful termination, claiming it wasn’t your fault.
Of course if they give you the security training and you still click the bad link, maybe they can use that as a justification for termination, where they will claim you were properly trained to avoid it.

Unfortunately for the fediverse, most regular users want to use their twitters and facebooks and instagrams and whatnot. I don’t see regular users switching over. And if they did, you know the big guys would come up with something to compete.

That recipe says for 4. So that’s actually not a lot of tuna per person.
- Comment on If you are a young person you have no idea how bad everyone and everything smelled until at least the 1990s. 4 weeks ago:
As a kid I liked the shitty little ashtrays they had in fast food restaurants. Like McDonald’s. I think they were aluminum and meant to be pretty much disposable. You could play with them like flying saucers. Or a shield for your GI Joe guys. Or if your GI Joe guys were going on vacation in the snow. They were maluable so you could shape them.

I have never heard of this. And I’m a smoker and I was alive back then. (Though I was a kid.)
Does the higher ceiling go to the smoking section or the non-smoking section?
