Good news, knowing about one thing doesn’t necessarily imply inability to know another thing.
Also people have been saying we’re fucked for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. I’m starting to suspect it’s not entirely true.
- Comment on AI boomer trait 1 day ago:
Except for you right? You’re the one person who hasn’t done any of these things.

Didn’t realize this was strictly about the US. Also left and right are relative directions. Something being left of something else. You can endlessly compare apples and oranges if you want, but I don’t see the point.

And thus is one of the issues. I watched for a long time as sooooooooooo many people urged going to proton. And now look.
This is true for a lot of things. Are we just doomed to endlessly migrate to different emails, browsers, phones, etc?
Gets fucking old and why I just don’t most of the time. Most hype about anything ever is bullshit.

Yes, federal income tax. Let’s also add that sales tax are far more regressive than other forms of taxation. Some places use those taxes more that are more likely to disproportionately affect the lower income population.

Just saw an Asus I think in Best Buy, and some other brand as well. More expensive than a Steam Deck and lacking a few features like all of the rear buttons and the two touchpads.
One of them also clearly was just Windows 11.
Pathetic. Buy a Steam Deck.

Also in the US, the bottom 50% don’t pay a dime in federal income taxes.
Also the concept of “MY” tax dollars is super selfish.

Yep. It became clear to me through difficult times and turmoil that my parents switch to Christianity during my childhood was their way to find excuses to never have to change or answer to others.
It’s a convenient way to remain narcissist and pretend you’re improving as a person.
My dad made it very clear he only needs to answer to “god” and nobody else.
Cool. Drop dead, dad.
