- Comment on YSK in the U.S., you can buy produce directly from black farmers and they will ship it to you. It can cost less than your supermarket and will piss off people in power. 3 weeks ago:
I kind of figured that was the reason, but seems like such a weak reason.

Region 5; Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin. Why are Ohio and Wisconsin grouped with the same link?

It seems like such an obvious move to me. Giant wide open spaces
- Comment on Ubisoft launches NFT game with figures costing up to $63K 3 months ago:
You own the figure in the game, but don’t delude yourself into thinking you actually own this game. We reserve the right to remove your access to your property at our own discretion

I was real excited for this game but once it came out, it doesn’t seem to deliver on any of the things I was hyped about

- Comment on Curse of Knowledge 5 months ago:
The Curse of Knowledge actually relates to educated people trying to communicate with people under the assumption that everyone knows as much as they do, forgetting that the average person might not be as educated
- Comment on Sea of Stars – Throes of the Watchmaker DLC – Indie World Showcase 8.27.2024 5 months ago:
Solid base game, I should probably finish playing it instead of doing my normal of saving in front of the final boss and never playing again.

- Comment on Best printer 2024: a humorous critique of the Google search engine and printer enshittification 10 months ago:
I got an HP because it was remote accessible, and had a scanner with a feed tray as well. It prints maybe 10 pages on a new cartridge. Costs 30 bucks for a new one. 3 dollars a page to print.
Bought a brother LaserPrinter that only prints B&W but at like 2000 pages. HP just does scanning now, nothing else
- Comment on She did her best ok? 11 months ago:
My wife and I go out of our way to try to reinforce the fact that we, as parents, very very very much appreciate their teachers. We give them Christmas cards, end of year cards, we donate gifts to them, and any time they send home a letter saying they are running low on supplies we donate something with a thank you card. Hopefully this eventually becomes apparent to the kids that they should appreciate the teachers just as much.

How dare they try to bring this to a larger market at exactly the same price as that other company without increasing the price.
- Comment on Cable firms to FTC: We shouldn’t have to let users cancel service with a click — Customers may “misunderstand the consequences of canceling,” say lobbyists 1 year ago:
Our profit margins are hurting due to young people not wanting to work and not fully understanding the gift, the boon, the euphoria of owning a TV and paying for services you don’t use. This has nothing to do with our prices, lack of customer service, or our programming being flooded with repetitive drivel.
- Comment on Prison Architect 2 - Official Announcement Trailer 1 year ago:
I have a pretty large city, but something is wrong with my tax calculations? I have one industry pumping out 150x the taxes of everything else combine. Just a blanket of $5m from lumber an in-game hour, next best is Metals at $45k a day.

Pretty sure the EU has done more for USA privacy on accident than our own government has done in general.

- Comment on Tesla driver who killed 2 people while using autopilot must pay $23,000 in restitution without having to serve any jail time 1 year ago:
Because unless you plan on becoming a lobbyist, or politician, or activist nothing will change. Sitting around saying “They have to get in trouble in some manner” doesn’t do anything. If you want that to happen, since they are legally protected from what you want, go make a change.
- Comment on Tesla driver who killed 2 people while using autopilot must pay $23,000 in restitution without having to serve any jail time 1 year ago:
They are legally protected from the punishment of more than anything. Nothing will ever hit them with more than NOTHING.
