Vote with your wallet. Well, those buying this kind of mac are basic users (non-pejorative), so it will continue to be there.
I love when back in the day people said that mastering the hardware and software would help to drive cost down, well their cost. :)

Or maybe, providing them better opportunities in our societies than selling their bodies to a disgusting guy?!
Bet you think all drugs should be illegal as well.
i don’t know what you are smoking right now but it’s not helping you for dialog.
- Comment on EU Article 45 requires that browsers trust certificate authorities appointed by governments 11 months ago:
knowing that EU commission is full of IT “campers” waiting to reimburse their mortgage and they will probably outsource the work to india (despite being forbidden), i am not really fond of the idea.

Regulating prostitution?
Because you think it is a normal, thought life style? A girl having a normal education (school, not abused during her youth, fled war/guerrilla), eating to her fill would chose this path?!

indeed, this is this unfair advantage to these silicon valley behemots.

Microsoft loves opensource. :P
While still using proprietary API and proprietary specs for hardware… you know the thing that gets in the way of FOSS operating systems.

great nickname
- Comment on New evidence confirms COVID-19 vaccines are overwhelmingly safe 1 year ago:
Genuinely impressive how a vaccine made under the conditions and time constraints COVID faced is so effective.
Come ON! This doesn’t say the vaccine - which one? - is effective but would have low adverse effects.
Not astonished that you put people against this experimental product in the case of anti-vax despite them being vaccinated for other stuff.

This is also Apple’s goal, strange they didn’t pass the cap yet. Paypal was the first “digital” bank, we owe him that but to be honest, i won’t put my money in a US entity. It is already difficult with most of the digital only EU banks.
- Comment on If you could play one game for the first time all over again, what would it be? 1 year ago:
I know about it but it does not make it. It is more about feeling. strange because even Unreal tournament ('99) or Quake 3 holds pretty well today.
- Comment on If you could play one game for the first time all over again, what would it be? 1 year ago:
Yep but on hardware of that era: PIII 1GHz, GeForce 3, 17" 1280x1024. I started the game recently but it was too empty and low-poly/low-rez (paradoxally at 1920x1080) with modern hardware.

paying a subs to let these douche of MrBeast pollute my timeline directly or indirectly? paying for having the nth tech groupie talking about Apple last shit?
- Comment on Goodbye Youtube and thanks for all the fish 1 year ago:
i disabled my history, so now youtube doesn’t suggest me anything, I have a blank page. I still have my subs but blank page by default, but the good thing is I do have have to engage and if I don’t know what to look for, I close the page.
ublock still work, btw.
- Comment on YouTube isn't happy you're using ad blockers — and it's doing something about it 1 year ago:
we are not happy to endure 4minutes of ads for product we don’t care about, each time we play a video.
- Comment on Windows 12 May Require a Subscription 1 year ago:
We need to support true open hardware or less ACPI-WIndows first one. MS can do whatever they want with their OS BUT it should not mess with hardware.
I expected Framework to be a FOSS first laptop but eventually, it just became a wintel derivative.

I agree. it has the right balance and you still have a full RJ45 slot :) My only issue with is the loose USB-C ports, it’s not firm like the Macbook or even Elitebook.

All podcast apps are broken, be it Pocket Casts, AntennaPod or the officials one from Apple/Google. I always discover on the go that an episode has been partially downloaded and even though I authorized the download over my data network, it doesn’t resume automatically.

what was their added value despite cutting down price with their poor hw and integration, shitty drivers?
I mean, FairPhone, Librem, PinePhone have real value and strategy, sure not perfect but this Vitamin (real chinese/french mark), LIPOq or VARK chinese knock-off phones, really, what did they expect?
those craps were like throwaway cameras in the 90’s.
