You look like an idiot by whining that this submission is about politics and not relevant to technology. And every additional comment adds to your idiocy.

- Comment on The EV industry can’t shake its human rights abuse problem 5 months ago:
You couldn’t be more wrong. ICE alone kills more than 250,000 people a day in the US alone from air pollution. And converting transportation from 100% fossil fuel to grid electrification is delayed but 100% necessary to have ANY effect on climate change. I meant to phrase it as one or the other as we need to eliminate all fossil fuel burning ASAP.

The EV industry can’t shake its human rights abuse problem
Because nearly all these stories pushed by the fossil fuel industry have been debunked. Meanwhile burning fossil fuels ALONE kills more than 250,000 people every year in the US.

Would have been far easier to just type “there is no free market”
- Comment on Republicans are pulling out all the stops to reverse EV adoption 6 months ago:
In the US there is only one metric: Dow Jones death panel. The insanity of our culture is that Obama Death Panels were an invention of the Dow Jones death panel board to rally the lemming brained right against the concept of public healthcare (the horror!). Oh yeah, obligatory fuck Joe Lieberman.

You misspelled Russians.
I take that back, you spelled Russians correctly.
- Comment on Republicans are pulling out all the stops to reverse EV adoption 6 months ago:
Yeah but in this case (EVs) it’s way better for public health and the “interference” is still a fraction of the scales tilted in fossil fuels favor.
- Comment on Republicans are pulling out all the stops to reverse EV adoption 6 months ago:
Lol without all the subsidies gas would be $12/gallon. And burning fossil fuels (40% is automotive) kills more than 250,000 Americans per year. Whats the cost of a human life brah?

Those horrible decisions are a minor contributor to the mass exodus by Democrats, who are the vast majority of Tesla owners.
- Comment on Tesla to lay off everyone working on Superchargers, new vehicles 6 months ago:
Investors should build charging stations with infrastructure (ie restaurants, game rooms, etc) halfway between big cities that are 5 hours away from each other. 2.5 hours (~150 miles) is about the distance you can drive an EV before needing to charge. This would create tremendous bidirectional business for people traveling from big cities.
- Comment on Tesla to lay off everyone working on Superchargers, new vehicles 6 months ago:
This comment is, in a nutshell, why Tesla is fucked. Conservatives will never buy electric until after Tesla is long dead so hitching your wagon to them is suicide.

Well I have a hard shell RTT (Autohome) that I love. Gets me off of the ground on a memory foam mattress and it’s well insulated. Very little hit to mileage. I’ve used it on my Jeep Rubicon and now on my Rivian R1S. Takes less than 2 minutes to pop up and I don’t have to worry about wild animals (I camp in bear/mountain lion territory).

An even greater shame is that almost no people are trained on basic statistics and think they can debunk a published study in PNAS with a Google search and some random guys blog.

Where I’m from private is slower, more expensive, capped, and throttled. Public is faster, cheaper, unlimited and unregulated. And private lobby’s/bribes politicians to put laws in place preventing public.

Please tell us how “keeping it private” ensures competition and prevents monopolies. For extra credit, let us know WHO is responsible for preventing monopolies.
