- Comment on Terrified friends burn to death trapped in Tesla as doors won't open after crash 3 days ago:
Tesla uses double pane laminated glass, it doesn’t shatter like normal tempered glass. It can be really difficult to break and get through.
- Comment on Badgers 4 weeks ago:
Brother in law had a huge wolf dog. The kind that can put it’s paws on your shoulders and look at you face to face. Massive. He got in a tussel with a badger and got tore up, took two weeks to heal. Then took off and came back with a 40 lbs badger in his mouth. Overall a 40 lbs meth badger = 150 lbs wolf dog.
- Comment on McDonald's executives admit diners think prices are too high, say they're working to create value 3 months ago:
I don’t go to McDonald’s often. But the last time I went I couldn’t believe the prices, and worse was the quality. Since COVID everything has gone up but McDonald’s doubled that and dropped quality too. It is so terrible now. Even considering the low standard it had before.

Good it surpassed my expectations. Decent quality, good acting, some of the quirky fallout humor, etc. I enjoyed it.

Me as well. I occasionally peak back to some niche subreddits, but don’t contribute anymore. I’m hoping some pop up here over time.

- Comment on Star Citizen Just Had its Biggest Crowdfunding Day Ever With $3.5 Million in 24 Hours 11 months ago:
I think it has turned into a sunk cost fallacy for so many now. They put so much money into it they can’t afford for it to fail/not continue.
- Comment on Feds subpoena Ticketmaster over egregious concert ticket prices — A spokesperson for Live Nation, which owns Ticketmaster, said the firm doesn't “feel comfortable” sharing information with Congress 11 months ago:
In the early 2000s Ticketmaster began to really take off. The fees and extras really started to bother me. So I stopped going to any events that used them. Other than a few state/county fair events I haven’t been to a concert since 2001. Because of Ticketmaster. I have no regrets either.
- Comment on Solar power and storage prices have dropped almost 90% 1 year ago:
Lack of competition, but mostly greed.
- Comment on Solar power and storage prices have dropped almost 90% 1 year ago:
I looked into getting solar installed. Best I could get in my area was $45k for a 10kW system or $97k for a 20kW with 2 power walls for storage. F that, even with government subsided rates.
- Comment on Google Chrome pushes ahead with targeted ads based on your browser history 1 year ago:
Someone needs to make an extension that googles random stuff all the time and floods ones history with so much background noise that the history becomes useless.
