Maccabi Tel Aviv fans are not the ones bombing Gaza
You’re so close to self realization. Neither are the Arabs living in Amsterdam part of Hamas. Yet that didn’t stop these Israelis from burning flags, taunting people, saying horrible things like “Fuck Arabs” and causing trouble in the Netherlands of all places.
Israeli people spewed venom, burnt palestinian flags and taunted amsterdam residents. You’re saying that retaliating is antisemitic. I say that’s bullshit.
Remember how in post-9/11 America violence against Arabs residents and businesses skyrocketed, despite their only connection being country of origin, ethnicity, or religion? That’s what Jews around the world are experiencing because of Gaza - because of people like you.
You seem to be manufacturing the racism by twisting what I said. I only said those who choose violence shouldn’t be surprised people are retaliating with violence. It’s not my problem that you incorrectly think people are retaliating because of your origin instead of your behavior.
The behavior of the Maccaba Tel Aviv fans had consequences. Now Israel and the general media is trying to avoid talking about the behavior that started all this and deliberately focusing on the retaliation as if it happened because of the identities of the people.

I don’t see people calling for decency when it’s brown people on the receiving end. I only see people calling for decency when people call out/fight back against the agressors.

The victim mentality is just in your head. Others just see an asshole who is burning down your flag and abusing you with death threats.
You pretend as if your nationality is visible to people like a banner… but it’s not. It’s just your behavior.
When you behave like an asshole and indulge in violence and spew hatred you expect people to respect your origin?

Immoral and unjust laws are meant to be broken. When Exxon Mobil writes the law jailing activists for blocking traffic and airplanes and that is equivalent to 4-5 years… same as for brutal violence, that should make your blood boil if you’re someone who cares about our planet and our future.

controversial take:
Objectification has been happening ever since women and men existed. Perfection is something humans have idolized and admired for a long time. Gods and godesses were drawn to be attractive and charismatic.
If the universe rewards intelligence over stupidity, why is rewarding beauty over ugliness a problem?
There is also this argument that… let people have their circus. Extreme beauty and intelligence are something people can look at and admire for a weekend as a form of escape. But this doesn’t mean people leave their partners or talk shit to their sisters “why don’t you look like her”, etc.
I guess my take is missing the problem which is that young adults set false expectation of their partners and this causes problem for them later in their life. But this feels like arguing we should shut down all forms of adult entertainment because the kids will get corrupted.

Roads are fundamental to the operation of any government. It isn’t simply that states need to maintain roads. It is that states need roads in order to exist.
Is it right to say then, that the users of the roads pay for maintenance? Do you expect the government to print more money to pay for maintenance?

you’re a dumbass. The advocates for a car-free society want to make it so that owning a car is not mandatory because alternatives will exist.

The problem is that highway advocates don’t solve the problem of “who’s going to pay for all this?”. The reason infrastructure in America is in disrepair is that funding for highways is supposed to be gotten from tolls and road taxes. But since everywhere in America is a freeway… there’s no funding for repairs.
Expecting the Government budget to cover maintenance of infrastructure is wishful thinking… unless you’re also willing to agree that the military is allocated too much money.

Ok then that means we have to consider the fact that Car-oriented zoning laws and construction are bad for our future. 15-minute cities and infrastructure to support alternative modes of transit for longer distances are the way forward.
