Not in my experience.
There have been so many yellow jackets and wasps that used to live in front of this house, and they tended to dive bomb anyone headed between the driveway and front door.
That and I got caught up in a swarm when a friend of mine stepped on a yellow jacket best when we were all about 7 or 8. I just happened to be nearby and got stung 16 times. My younger brother got hit at least 18 (they list count at that point) and he needed an epi for even though without a known allergy to bee stings. Maybe after almost 20 songs you get symptoms anyway.
Either way, I’ve never forgiven bees since that day and I never will. I’m not out hunting them down or anything, but if I encounter them, and it’s somewhere I have regular need to go, they’re getting evicted without warning with prejudice. And I will laugh while they’re dying.

Didn’t care. If they got stingers and live too close to me, they are getting squished out poisoned without mercy.

I feel like it does imply that though. “tablet-fed” really does sound more severe than just using it having one around.

I can see the alphas railing against the term “tablet-fed”. They are NOT gonna like that.
That’s gonna be what us cranky old millennials call them later while we would be yelling at them to get off our lawn. But we won’t yell that, because none of us will own any yards.

I totally get the comparison now. That movie was horrifying as hell though.

This one just seems lazy. They’re clearly not the same species directly. So do we have the whole evolution chat won’t, or do some skip being Kangaskhan to become Marrowaks, or what? This has so many holes on its face.
Of course, these theories are made by kids while playing and trading cards. So it makes sense.

But don’t Chars die if their tail goes out? Or is this some weird cross evolution mechanic now?
- Comment on Gen 1 Pokémon Fans Are In Awe As Cubone’s Face Is Discovered In Old 90s Picture Book | Retro Dodo 2 months ago:
The story behind Cubone never made any sense to me. Maybe I missed something.
But his skull helmet has the whole sad sorry about Mommy attached to it, yadda yadda. Ok, so that story fits for one specimen, or maybe a couple. But is there some massive killing spree on Marrowaks out there that all their mothers die after a single kid? How is this species not extinct?
Their population is cutting in at least half every generation, and for some reason, no offspring are ever seen before their mother perishes, is dead long enough to pry out her skull, and have it somehow fit conveniently as a hat. Or maybe they’re pushing down great grandma’s skull, I don’t know.
But this species never made any sense, because they all have it. If it was just a particular one everything makes sense, but this is some insane shit.

Lol alright. I have a standing appointment with my brother every weekend to watch a movie and will work on a TV show for a few episodes each weekend.

None of that description sounds anything like the premise that the meme movie would be. But it does sound interesting enough for me to check it out this weekend.

I wanna see this movie.
- Comment on How come it seems for the past decades the Catholic Church has been plagued with sex crimes especially among young boys? How long has this been going on? Or did I just miss something up. 2 months ago:
I mean you give people authority over kids and then teach them to hate the sexual part of their personality, and something’s gonna go wrong, probably way more often than it goes right.
I haven’t done any real reading on it yet, this is just a really common sense starting hypothesis. So don’t take it for more than that. But that’s my guess.

I guess I’ll accept the phrasing here. But I don’t like it.
- Comment on Was Elvis Presley a pedo? 2 months ago:
I would be very ok with that.
- Comment on Was Elvis Presley a pedo? 2 months ago:
I absolutely hate (not dislike) that “huah” vocal noise that’s commonly associated with him and think any human making that noise needs to be taken out immediately.
I’ve never heard anything about any of this but I absolutely hate him and any contract he made on society simply as a product of the horror of that noise.
I exaggerate for humor, clearly, but I really do absolutely hate that noise and do not give it a single shred of artistic respect at all, it’s flatly and out-of-hand declined any consideration for credit at all and people that like him as an artist I will literally completely discount any of their artistic opinions.
I have the same artistic hate for Elvis that I have political and personal hate for Trump.
I don’t even have a way to know exactly what it is but just hearing his voice immediately sends me into a blinding rage. It’s not to my knowledge some kinda trauma type of memory associated with it, because I was only exposed to enough of it to just recognize the voice. There are just a few things I know of that make me that angry that quickly. One of them is having to backtrack. Like realizing you forgot a critical grocery and having to go back to the store immediately, or forgetting to bring that one super important thing to work and you have to go back for it before going in. That part multiplies with any kind of time pressure.
But Elvis hits me in the same kind of spot. A randomly specific and very reactive trigger. Well I say reactive but I just end up telling at myself and increasing blood pressure for a few minutes. I don’t literally go into a fugue state and start dropping people.
All that just to say that with me he is absolutely NOT loved and the little bit I heard about some kind of drama with the Graceland estate makes me laugh myself silly because screw those people, the whole lot of them. Do fans of Elvis even care a little bit about any of the family careers? It doesn’t seem so to me, but I’m not an expert.

I just assumed all the ones we would actually hear about would get named more regularly. But I guess if they’re talking about a specific one, this would happen. I never really thought about how many must really be out there, but now it seems obvious.
- Comment on Rain on Other Worlds 3 months ago:
I guess that’s a good point.

Wtf did they honestly expect from you in that situation anyway? Do they really think you would come back from vacation to deal with that? From what I can tell, fixing it is barely beyond a T1 hekpdesk amount of knowledge, just an annoying process. Unless there’s more to it, I haven’t looked heard at the details but that’s the gist I’m hearing.
But unless they’re going to triple my vacation length (in terms of paid days off in other words) and maxing out all my upgrade options for the next one I’ma have to say they can get bent.
Basically they gotta pay for the best version possible of that trip (assuming there was a trip) and give me enough time to take 2 more.
I ain’t taking a work call on vacation.

Why did they specifically mention to “secure home DVR recorders”?
Other than potentially losing some TV or movies, is that really a big deal next to the other items they mention? It seems really odd to mention one of the least important things.
