Off topic and not a criticism of this meme, op or anyone who likes this, but this is a great illustration if why right wing politics is on the rise with younger people.
Being a piece of shit is kind of just funny. Like people don’t really make memes or sarcastically talk about being a good person, as it’s just not funny.
And while this is obviously not serious and probably won’t start a trend of people actually drunk driving, that IS how a lot of shitty modern trends start, with people doing it sarcastically for the meme, then someone else takes it bit more seriously to take the joke further and someone else takes it even further, until people are actual serious racists or misogynists for the meme.

- Comment on OpenAI's move to allow generating "Ghibly stlye" images isn't just a cute PR stunt. It is an expression of dominance and the will to reject and refuse democratic values. It is a display of power 3 weeks ago:
Nah its like people critiquing the trump admin and their biggest issue not being the concentration camps, or the imperialism, or betraying allies to support Russia, general fascist behaviour etc. They make a big fuss about him being rude in his tweets.
Like criticising that doesn’t negate the other stuff, but bring attention to the smaller mostly inconsequential stuff only serves to distract from the bigger problems.

Will you guys shut up about this?
There are genuinely some big issues with AI that need to be addressed but they are drowned out by morons melting down over people making dumb little Ghibli style images for their own amusement.
Shout about insurance companies using AI to auto dent people’s medical claims, not about some dude Turnjng a picture of his cat into anime style

Nah I agree with this, scholarly articles need to be easily searchable and informative.
Putting in hard to understand pop culture references that won’t make sense in a couple years just makes information harder to find.

That’s to train it. Even the most modern version of AIs like deepseek or get can run on a raspberry pi.

If it took a year and 4 months lose 30% there’s no way he will have lost another 20% in 3 months.

Kind of misinformation. If X lost 30% of its original userbase between May 2023 and September 2024.
Even if we extrapolate on that that sharper decline at the end if the graph there’s no way they would have lost 50% of its original usrrbase by now.
