I think people are over estimating how long 100 years is.
No languages that are currently spoken by more than a couple thousand people are going to go extinct that quickly.
Remember 100 years is in the upper end of a human life span.

I will always come to the defence of Chamberlain from pop-history types.
He actually saved the UK by massively rearming the country in the lead up to the war, especially so the RAF. If it wasn’t for his actions we would have likely lost the battle for Britain.
Also fun fact: at the time he was actually considered a war hawk by much of parliament and was pressured into being softer on Hitler than he wanted to.

My dog realised if I was working and he tried to get attention from me I would usually just ignore him or give him a quick pet and go back to work. So he started yelping like hurt himself and giving me a sad look so I would actually come over and make a fuss over him.
