I’ll have to check. I’m running it on Linux via proton, so it might get complicated

Been playing it on PC. Performs better at 1440p that 1080p for reasons I don’t understand

Fiddling with settings is ok, but I don’t have time to spend trying to get a game to work. Like i game on Linux and 90% of games just work for me. A few years ago they didn’t and I stuck to windows for gaming. I have no time to figure out why sound doesn’t work in Skyrim lol.
But it works now

I don’t see how this is different from any other company. Xbox has forever done the same. I’m pretty sure Sony has too

It’s like we’re returning to the early 00s lol. I used to rock a 450w psu in my 750ti build. :( granted I use a 650w today but my rx580 SND Ryzen 5 1500x is getting dated when it comes to new releases.
This is the first year I really don’t meeet requirements. Don’t know what to do with this market lol

I mean if It’s only for business machines I get it. If you want a proper silo where your ip and isn’t going to be stolen by an LLM, any organization should run an in house self hosted model that is trained on their own data and doesn’t pass data back to the upstream. That just makes sense. Especially if it just passes your work to your competitors.
I mean if we ever properly gleam information from LLMs, it’ll be the biggest source of leaks and whistleblowing ever created from video games to National security. Don’t use cloud hosted llms if you want privacy and security.

Still the best engineered bang for your Buck/power draw card ever created in my eyes. Power draw of a lightbulb and I put it side by side with my freinds Xbox one at release and beat its performance.
I wish companies stayed on that track.

I love how my boy 750ti is in there. My first real gpu and my favorite because it was a time when NVIDIA was showing interest in getting the most bang out of lower power draw. That went out the window

They take my profile picture. I don’t post about my job anywhere and it’s not on any of my profiles because I don’t associate with that place when I’m not there. I honestly don’t know how they found out where I work.

I’ve been facing a lot more personal harassment over disagreements on the internet that should never lead to that level of harassment. Like taking photos of me from my profile, photoshopping them, sharing them labeled as a pedophile because of my appearance, and Last weekend I had an angry racist threaten to dox me to my employer that I— called out racism?— trying to get me fired.
I feel like the paid trolls have gotten really aggressive since the election.

It’s not about it being bad. It’s about expectations and reality. It’s not human. Can’t replace human emotion and thought. Just process data and give analysis.
There is an emotional factor that goes into proper human decision making that is required. Or else half the human population would probably be suggested to be wiped out for some kind of cold, efficiency sake only a machine or psychopath can accept.

Just teach kids that AI isn’t human and isn’t a replacement for humanity or human interaction of any kind.
It’s clippy with a ginormous database. It’s cold blooded.

I think it supports DirectX 12 at least I never considered it. Honestly I have to look that up.

good to know about performance. I was going to try to play it anyways, even though my Ryzen 1500x and RX580 GB didn’t meet minimum specs, but it just might not be worth it.

I’ve been hearing a lot about gen z using them for therapists, and I find that really sad and alarming.
AI is the ultimate societal yes man. It just parrots back stuff from our digital bubble because it’s trained on that bubble.

It’s barely even AI. The amount of faith people have in these glorified search engines and image generators Lmao

What? I remember always remember having to use an external mod manager for ES games to work with load order. I’m pretty sure Skyrim didn’t have that at launch because I required the mod manager when I first started modding it. But steam workshop wasn’t even much of a thing then
- Comment on Here the fuck we go again 3 weeks ago:
Steam workshop isn’t mod support. It’s a place to get mods. Mods work without developer support, always have, always will.
