It’s terrible. They released an Alpha at full price. They changed how building rockets was done, for the worse. Performance was horrible even on my 3080 and aside from prettier graphics, there was nothing really new to explore. It it were cheaper, I’d be kinder. If it performed decently I wouldn’t mind but they released a POS of a game knowing full well KSP1 owners would buy it and it made us all look like suckers. They knew they released an incomplete game at full price and didn’t deliver. That sir is hot garbage.

I read that men have to send over 110 likes before they get a single response whereas women get 50-60 guys a day messaging them and they act really creepy like sending dick pics.

It would be nice if they provided that information but the data isn’t useless without that information. It helps show that there’s a pattern where batteries only lose 10% capacity after being driven a lot.
You can assume that EV’s with higher milage will have been charged far more often than those with less mileage.
Canadian here and yeah, it can get down to -30C and +30C here but remember all batteries are insulated and they run glycol though them to keep them at a constant temperature which negates any external factors like weather. Polestar does their testing in the Artic circle so it’s even colder so if it works well there, it’ll work well anywhere.
With more EV’s sold and more time passed, only then will we better understand battery life but based on what I’m seeing, it’s a minor issue that won’t stop me from buying an EV.
- Comment on Electric cars will be cheaper to make than gas vehicles but with much higher repair and insurance costs 8 months ago:
It’s easy to make a less powerful motor. As someone else said, the current market is for people who are looking for better performance and aren’t concerned with price. I put a deposit on a Polestar 3 that does 0-60 in 4.7s which is slow compared to its competition like the Model X and BMW iX but I don’t care about 0-60. It’s a meaningless metric to judge a car by. My Challenger SRT 392 does the 0-60 in 4.2s but I bought that car for how nice it looks, not its 0-60.

Replacing EV batteries is very rare, even in older or very used EV’s

I’m hoping you’re being hyperbolic about burning rainforests because not every blockchain is power hungry like Bitcoin or the old the POW Ethereum.
Besides, the rainforest is being burned down to make way for more cattle to provide more beef. Not sure why you chose the rainforest as example of intense computational power.

Polestar enters strategic partnership with blockchain provider Circulor
Collaboration targets blockchain traceability and CO2e tracking
Progressive in scope and ambition, partnership enables unprecedented supply chain transparency - Comment on Please Stop 8 months ago:
I’ll likely get downvoted but Polestar, the EV automaker that used to build performance variants for Volvo, uses blockchain to track minerals used in their EV’s.
Circulor Circulor’s blockchain technology enables tracing of extracted raw materials, particularly those with significant impact to communities and the environment.
I like that they use blockchain to ensure the minerals they use aren’t coming from negative sources but I’m sure someone will argue and say it’s stupid or that SQL can do the same.

- Comment on How Disney and Warner Bros. Are Causing Internet Piracy to Boom | Platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ were supposed to do away with pirated media. Instead, they may make them stronger than ever. 10 months ago:
Yup, good point. You don’t have to buy a new desktop with the latest Intel CPU with massive storage. You can start small and upgrade as needed. I know I wanted this solution so I invested to make sure I had something I can use for a long time. I got a desktop with a 12th gen i5 so it can do transcoding though it’s not needed.

I setup a Plex server with all the Arr’s and it took me maybe 1 hour and about $1500 in hardware such as a desktop PC and 4 x 10TB drives. Then I had to pay for a News Servers service ($100 for 15 months) and I opted to purchase a domain for like $7/year. Quite the upfront cost but easy to setup and maintain and I can watch anything I want with the best possible experience possible. If my internet goes down? I can still watch everything. When my News Servers subscription runs out, I still keep everything I have and can watch it as many times as I want. It’s so simple to use, my wife who LOVES TV now prefers ‘on demand’.
All thanks to the greedy fuckers running literally every streaming service.
