This. Sucks. I really love games like Duck Game, Kingsway, and Super House of Dead Ninjas.
Tax breaks. Woohoo!
How this shitty legal manoeuvre is even allowed is so infuriating.

Because they got theirs.
Look at Boeing. So what if people die in preventable crashes, stock to up
Huh, that’s very interesting. I do like the idea that the actual creators of the show have the option to license it out themselves though.
But apparently not for the game creators :(
Warner Brothers is run by actual ghouls
From my understanding, it’s just one guy who bought the whole thing and believes that anything cartoon/comic related isn’t relevant anymore. He’s trying to move wb into the “reality tv” era.
All of which is really stupid because wb is literally only known for its century-long run of pretty good cartoons and comics, and its reality aspect was so bad that they had to brand it off of wb, which is what the cw is.
So yeah, this one guy is running wb into the ground and destroying one of the biggest animated repositories on the planet because he “doesn’t like cartoons”.
Duck Game might be my favorite multiplayer game of all time. Fuck WB and the tax system in this country that allows corporations to get even the most miniscule of short term gains off of this kind of bullshit.
The art crushing machine will continue until morale profits improve
Thankfully it looks like Rain World isn’t affected judging by the article
Yeah the rain world Dev fought to get their game back ages ago, it’s why they could continue working on it.
Man, Warner Bros hates making money do they.
Fuck, it looks like I’m finally going to have to buy the Samurai Jack game.
Yep, I’ve been holding out for that one, but looks like I’ll have to cop it before it goes away. Such a dumb fucking thing, fuck WB and Zaslav.
Man, between this and various shows/movies getting removed from streaming, it is so frustrating to see.
Could it be licensing costs? Things like music might be licensed separately.
Could it be overhead? They probably have 1-2 people managing that stuff a few hours a month. They might be cutting checks for $100 or less and just think it’s a waste of time.
What do you mean delisted?? I paid for DuckGame will I get money for it?
If you're talking Steam delisting just means no one can buy it, if you already bought it it remains downloadable in your library.

Fuck does WB suck now, the second I see an announcement of something releasing and see WB is behind it I don’t even bother anymore because it’ll probably be cancelled and removed.
That’s rich coming from a multi-billion dollar corporation lmfao

Why won’t you ever consider the shareholders?! Won’t somebody please think of the shareholders!

Honestly, it doesn’t make sense at this point. Warner Bros Discovery is burning the place down to sell the remains as charcoal.
