  I think this is kinda sad. I’d wish for something better to come along and replace it, but that doesn’t seem to happen anymore.

  Going miss this. Use to watch it live on Twitch it was awesome and exciting. I always wanted to go guess won’t be able to do that.

    For my generation it was the E3 edition gaming magazines. Also never got to go.

  Industry body Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which ran E3, confirmed to the BBC that the event will not go ahead in the future.

  It started as a trade show in LA in 1995, just after the launch of the PlayStation and the year before the Nintendo 64 was released.
