They are succeeding!
I’ve used Linux for years, certainly for all servers, but preferred the Windows desktop environment until last year.
So many shitty, slow updates. Hassle me to give MS my data or switch to Edge half the times I boot up…
I have fully embraced Gnome Shell and love my Debian setup. Feels great to be in control again!
Also, baseline CPU load is way lower and it’s much more rare to have my fans throttle up.

CAD software which also has a pretty neat parametric design extension called Grasshopper.
Pretty sure they have a demo version if you’re really curious.
I used to work for a metal 3D printing company that used it as the primary CAD software.

- Comment on Pi-Hole and Searxng Question 7 months ago:
Yes, nginx or caddy are popular reverse proxies.
Without one you can only host applications on different ports, not combined on one port like you want.
- Comment on Pi-Hole and Searxng Question 7 months ago:
You need a reverse proxy to accomplish this. The reverse proxy will have port 80 exposed and points PiHole/Searx containers and their respective ports for the paths you specify.

You should be able to smell the pee (and, as others said, see the poo).
Unless the mice showed up yesterday, it should be fairly obvious.
