I’m not much for watching other people play games but I loved Tabletop so much. Probably because they always edited to explain all the nonsense going on lol
You should check out No Rolls Barred on youtube
Yes and yes. The best part is when they sync up in the ship attack even though they've never been on set together before.
If you’ve done the bridge shake once you’ve done 'em all
My parents have this version! it actually has a few small improvements to the base game that modify the robber for the better. My memory is fuzzy of how it’s different, but i remember us liking it more :p
I watched this video years ago but I don’t remember a damned thing about it. Re-watching it again as I plan my 9th Baldurs Gate 3 playthrough. I have a fucking problem.
How are you on your 9th run?! I am a hundred plus hours in and I still haven’t finished my first. Do you knowingly limit which quests you choose?
I’ve made peace with the fact I am missing some quests, but I feel there’s still so much to do before finishing act 3.
(My next run will be an all owl bears)
I’m on my 6th or 7th playthrough. 270 hours in and I still keep finding stuff. Today I found a secret cave in Underdark with Kuatoa worshipping a red cap. Game of the year for sure.
I am slightly annoyed that they didn't use the Starfarers of Catan as the base for this game. Would have made more sense.
But I suppose Starfarers just isn't as popular so that's why I am only slightly annoyed.
It’s one of the better variations of Catan, too, using the same rules as the Helpers of Catan scenarios expansion.
I got a copy for my dad a few years before he passed. He mostly enjoyed games like Trivia Pursuit, but the Trek theme did draw him in to this version of Catan.
I watched all of the TableTop series. It’s what helped me gain an obsession of board games.
What’s “Settlers of Cathan”?
The support cards are a great addition to the game. You can get them for normal Catan if you want, they’re called “Helpers of Catan”.
Sadly this version is OOP, but i did manage to get a demo for my game shop before that happened. I need to find more Trekkies to play it with me.

We like you starmets, we just don't like you enough to have you know our address or meet you unaccompanied. We like you from a distance.

It’s gotta happen

You should give it a try. It’s actually the only version of Catan that I own. The support cards change thing in a significant way

I want it. And I want to play it.
Is there a board game zine here anywhere?

I haven’t seen one, but there’s bound to be.

There are a couple of board game communities. At least one is very anti-Catan.
