Really? How displaced is your view if you consider the USA easy mode?
Also, fuck Mexico. Apparently.

Duke nukem forever didn’t tarnish the older games IMO. Because the games barely have any story to begin with, they are mostly ranked for their gameplay, which is still awesome to this day. At least for 2 and 3d.
Duke1 is nothing too special. But Duke1 wasn’t even too special at time of release.

From feeding tiny bits of solder. Not from soldering.

Oh this hurts physically. So much frustration when soldering with the small wires. So much wasted solder to save your fingers from burning.
Thanks. I hate it.

As far as I know, the biblical description of angels are in line with the Torah and in extention with the Quran.
But you seem deeply invested in this religion, which is fine by me, but I am not. I see the similarities and just presume that whoever wrote the book read the others. I’m not saying I am right or wrong, or that you are. All I’m saying that the similarities are very much possible and, in my opinion, very probable in a non-religious sense.
Even religions before monotheism are very much alike, and probably stem from the same root. I don’t see anyone pushing for godly intervention or prophecies for that. But in all probability, the coincidence in that is probably similar to the coincidence in the Islam.

By that time Christianity existed, and most of the Middle East was the Roman empire. It’s not far fetched. The old testament of Christianity is basically the Torah texts freely translated and somewhat changed, and Christianity was by that time, thanks to constantine, the most widely spread religion in the Roman empire. It’s not a miracle or a coincidence. People traveled then, too. It’s about as far fetched as an American-born Buddhist these days. Not common, but it happens.
In fact, the silk road has existed for centuries, if not millenia by then. If they can trade with places as far as China, it’s not far fetched for a religion proven to be inspired by both Judaism and Christianity to have a lot of similarities to have traveled a little over the Roman empire’s borders.

They wrote it down, Monks (or the religion’s equivalent) copied them. Religious leaders read them aloud. It’s not hard to understand.
- Comment on Scallops 1 month ago:
As always, people who could read, read religious texts for people who cannot. There’s no coincidence, just telling and retelling of stories once made up way before.
- Comment on Finland detects more GPS jammers as drivers increasingly try to hide their tracks | Yle News | Yle 2 months ago:
I agree. But the post I replied to literally describes a way for the employer to spy.
Rather than the employer spying, how about we keep the timer local on the vehicle. You don’t even need GPS for that either. Vehicle on, timer starts. Beeping after set amount of time. Beeping gets louder for every 10/15 minutes ignored. Insert an alucap condensator and resistor to not reset the timer after a certain amount of time.
But I have no experience with truckers or their vehicles. So I might as well just be talking out of my ass.

It’s illegal to spy on your workers through a camera in most EU countries. Why should GPS tracking be legal?

I also want to give a shout out to “Borderline OCD” as someone who works in small electronics, he’s one of the few I don’t cringe at when he’s soldering. So if you want a good example for soldering, he should be high on anyone’s list.

You can run burned games in the dreamcast. No need for a mod. If you decide to get a new copy, you don’t have to use the original. Just make a copy.
