  Who tf counts like that? You make 4 lines, then cross out the block to make it 5! Making 5 lines and then crossing out just makes it so much easier to make mistakes…

      Babylon had 60. There’s a few that used 12, but they’re not super influential historically. In modern day, place value, base 10 with Arabic numerals is the international standard. This is
