Anyone played 2? How was it?

    I couldn’t finish 1.

The player is shown a lot of disturbing imagery, but there is zero tension and no threat. It’s similar to early Chinese Room titles: a pretentious and superficial experience comparable to A Machine For Pigs, without the pigs. Evaluated as a horror game, its horror is ruined by the game. 4/10, the experience isn’t worth the time. Just watch someone else play it.

I don’t mind walking sims as long as I know what I’m in for and the mood/story is worthwhile. I really liked AMFP, for example.

But LoF 1 just didn’t do it for me. Sounds like 2 is more of the same. The parts where it entered horror were a bit distasteful for me

Its a Bloober game, so its going to be mid-at-best and have horrendous performance issues. Most likely a walking simulator overfilled with the only thing Bloober thinks is scary: jump scares. Ansolutely no subtlety in the story either.

Oh my god, my eyes saw the word “Lay-“ and knowing this is a studio in 2026 that makes singleplayer games, it automatically filled in a different word.
