  This is a good showcase on why, even if you win, gambling will still drain you. There’s plenty of stories of people who hit the jackpot immediately wasting it all hoping for a second jackpot.

    which is something i will never understand, because my immediate reaction would be “fucking sweet i’m gonna go find someone who will make me a pizza the size of an entire dinner table, and keep doing so every day the rest of my life”
