I blame executive dysfunction.
Mom needed to start me with a comprehensive checklist of specific tasks. Clean the kitchen isn’t sufficient. Clean the counter, being sure to get under all the counter-top appliances is better.
Otherwise, my missed spots are due to insufficient instruction and insufficient training.

Short story medium: Had this on VHS and the remote had a 1.5 play speed. My older sister and I would crack up watching Mortal Kombat as voiced by the Chipmunks. Great memories. Thanks fir the reminder.
Also had the VHS and watched it constantly. I drink a ton of water after living in the desert for years and still think of Kitana saying “use the element that brings life” occasionally while topping off my bottle. Said it to my gf once when she was poking fun at me for filling my bottle again so soon and she had no clue what I was talking about so that joke flew like a penguin

My mom did this while I mowed the lawn. Pointed to leaves I missed. Even if they had fallen after I had already done that part of the lawn. Real piece of work.
