- Comment on Airbnb will now show users the total cost of their stay right away 1 week ago:
Yep instead of lowering rent because your unit is unaffordable you just buy up and rent them all out creating housing scarcity and prices will increase right up until the point ppl can’t afford to vacation anymore… Which is pretty much now anyway.

- Comment on Shower drains and storm drains are the same thing in theory but not practice 4 weeks ago:
Depends on where you live. In central New Jersey a lot of storm water from the streets is a separate system that heads back into the rivers or whatever whatershed. Where as sewage from your home or business drain goes to sewage treatment processing.
- Comment on EA just released source code for a bunch of old Command and Conquer games, and added Steam Workshop support to bangers like C&C 3: Tiberium Wars 1 month ago:
God I wish EA had never bought Westwood. They used to make bangers. That was the start of enshittification. We knew it was shitty back then and it never really stopped being shit. 30 years later EA pretends to be good by releasing source. Kind of meaningless.

- Comment on Reddit is making sitewide protests basically impossible 6 months ago:
Reddit is already dead, the corporate AI shell is all that remains amongst some folk who dont realize everyone is a bot or an idiot.
/r/android used to be one of the hottest subs - it’s literally just posts from the same 2 OPs linking to their professional news articles.
