Putting a .html into a torrent and sharing that is technically a decentralized website.
IPFS, nostr, fediverse are decentralized technologies too.
But I’m guessing you want users to use their browser as they would any other website?
Probably not in the way you’re imagining, and definitely not in a way that is just as easy to access as any other site.
Have a look at letsdecentralize.org
Well, depends on what OP is looking for. For example running multiple web servers on different locations with same content and load-balancing them is absolutely doable. But impossible to say what they’re actually after.
Thanks for this! Zeronet looks promising
But also fairly dead according to the description
Could you elaborate what you’re looking for exactly? Like, what do you want to achieve and how much ressources are you willing to put into it?
IPFS with MFS to ensure you can update your website after publishing and your choice of static website generator could be a way of doing it.
What is MFS?
Microsoft Flight Simulator,… duh 🙄

ZeroNet was a nice and promising project, but its author unfortunately abandoned the repo and disappeared from the internet. There are two forks that are being updated periodically, but it all looks barely alive.

No kind, it’s a forewarning.
