I will be adding mustard to the beans to try cut down the sweetness. Specifically, Colman’s mustard from England.
This is the way. All beans, no bs sugar

A bean and some bangers
Good, you got the multi-Franks. People couldn’t handle your lone dog last time. They felt they got the shaft. Am I right? Am I right?
IMO, you can’t really cut “sweet”. You can increase the complexity; you can make it “rich”, but the sweetness tends to overpower whatever you might add.
You might have better luck starting with British-style baked beans. My local (US) grocery stores carry Heinz Beanz
Add some horseradish
Or find some British baked beans.
Hienz only makes ketchup over here.
Need like 2-4 weeners and I am in
Heating the can in the microwave makes the beans taste extra sparkly
This sparks joy
