If those are the biggest behavioural issues the author is worried about then I would question if she has ever even caught public transport.

Pee and poop and other bodily emissions, vaping, drunk or drugged, sadly mentally unwell and kids doing stupid shit are my main worries.

There it is. Another woman who doesn’t understand there are physiological reasons men sit the way they do, yes for comfort.
Being uncomfortable is not a requirement for using public transport.

These are definitely common problems in public transport. On Bourke Street you might fight your way into a tram and stand pressed up against the door, only to see a huge uninhabited space a short way down the aisle that no-one is using. Crowd dynamics are weird.
