In a prop that was never intended to be seen.

In a prop that appears in several episodes and was carefully placed each time.
It’s clearly intended to be an obscure Easter Egg and not a big plot point, but regularly displaying that exact book is not accidental.

Nobody would be able to make it out when the show was filmed and released. It’s was a fun thing for the set, but it wasn’t intended for the audience.

I love that this is a detail the set designer did expecting it to go unnoticed, that’s a level of passion for sure.

You know how sometimes you’re watching an old episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and there’s a quick shot of a control panel on a spaceship and you’re like, “Wait a minute. Haven’t I seen that control panel before in the background of an episode of Frasier?”
Yeah, it’s called autism.
These are the kinds of things a person notices while going through each Star Trek episode taking meticulous screenshots of all the starship overhead displays
The prosecution rests.

Acknowledging the overlap in the Trek community and the autism spectrum is not unwelcoming. The neurotypical don’t get this kind of obsessive, and so don’t get these kind of opportunities.

Wow … that is impressive
Not only did they have to watch a lot of Star Trek but each episode would probably be analyzed, catalogued, noted, researched and screenshot for hours or days
