  Alpha in software means the worst possible version of the software a group feels comfortable showing people.

  The only time Alpha means anything positive is literally in the Bible (Alpha and Omega, which are really just referring to letters in the alphabet, so I am the Aardvark and the Zed doesn’t have quite the same punch to it).

  Then there was that flawed study of wolf pack behavior that was debunked ages ago that they’re still flaunting around.
