Agreed. And they may have Tidal outclassed for the student bundle if you like the TV streaming services it comes with, but it’s not like college students have time for TV anyways. I just like to listen to music while studying for a test, for the same $5.99 / mo (within $1 of each other anyways) I’ll take lossless audio over a TV service I’ll never use.

Pretty much. And for etymology searches like this Wiktionary is a life saver. Just type in hippocampus and follow the link rabbit holes, and it gives you the etymology: hippocampus < hippocamp (mythical sea monster) < hippos (horse) + kampos (shark).

Agreed, I think a lot of conservationism can even go too far in removing or preventing natural adaptation to the human presence. I was mostly referring to cases where humans can transport species between local ecosystems in a way that wouldn’t occur otherwise, which can result in an environmental imbalance that doesn’t always fix itself since such changes in range don’t usually occur naturally on a scale as large as with, say, the introduction of the brown marmorated stinkbug into North America from Asia.

Cyanoacrylate. Unless you’re literally soaking it in your food I’m not too concerned about food safety with where the joint is - but of course I’ve been exposed to so many carcinogens that a little super glue won’t matter

I thought the above comment was regarding the environmental waste - I personally use a ninja brand coffee maker that supports k-cups, with a reusable filter cup as pictured above to save money and paper waste on filters. I’m out of the loop on Keurig, what did they do?
