A strange video of a humanoid robot Unitree H1 in China attacking engineers during testing has appeared online.
The published footage shows how the robot suspended on a hook suddenly began waving its arms as if trying to attack a man.

Experts assume that Unitree H1 was in a state of falling, because of which the autocorrection was triggered.
This is how robots try to regain their balance when falling.
Bullshit headline. Even the video just looks like a robot blindly flailing. Nothing to see here except a test gone awry.
I can tell you the truth about this: Strong or heavy machines in close proximity to humans are dangerous. People get injured every single day around the world, operating machines. Sometimes factory workers get crushed. This is just one more example in a long list of accidents.
And the video isn’t even THAT scary. When I first saw this video with a headline about a robot going “berserk”, I expected something closer to terminator like behaviour instead of erratic hand waving. It was clearly just a software bug with no “intent” behind it (apologies for the anthropomorphism).
This clickbait title is like claiming your blender is out for murder when the button got stuck
I don’t have a humanoid blender.
We have a missile that is one.
Or a slap chop. One or the other, I can’t remember.
…and was apparently written by AI it is so bad.
