Oh - then that’s fucked up. Synthesizing some narrative to potentially coerce an outcome seems like a slippery slope. (Not necessarily saying that’s exactly what happened here.)

Appreciated – my apologies that I wasn’t clear. I was curious about the connection to “did we learn nothing from doom 2016” that the OP referenced.

I was wondering what happened in “doom 2016”. And now I can’t tell if you’re summarizing the article or what happened in doom 2016.

(I haven’t been paying attention to news.)
But if power is out I could see some traffic lights eventually failing to work, at which point I might guess the driver/organization sees it as a liability to continue the routes. So, I don’t know if the payment system would be the limitation.

It’s a unique situation. If you’re not signing anything and are not combining finances – then it seems fairly low risk at a glance. Try not to get anyone pregnant.
What are your reservations? Is this your first time living with someone else outside of your family? Does this help you two save money in some way? Are there other stipulations to this arrangement?
