Good! It would help prevent flies, which are worse.
Don't worry

You’ll never know until it’s too late.
Fun story time: a spider once laid eggs under the water reservoir of my espresso maker. I guess It was warm and dark there. I only found out when I noticed tons of little spider webs going from the espresso maker to the kitchen cabinets… with the hatched babies crawling on them. Much screaming occurred that day.

I know there’s the whole “burn the house” joke, but I think I actually would in this case

Once an egg sac hatched at our communal postbox and it was magical, all these tiny yellow spot sprite things bumbling around and setting off. Put a good narrator on and people would have watched for hours.

One time when I was a little kid, my sister and i saw a huge spider crawling along on the floor very slowly. We screamed, and our dad came in and stepped on it. Thousands of billions of little baby spiders came pouring out. It was horrifying. And that’s (one of the many) reasons why I don’t kill spiders. If necessary, I will relocate them outside by trapping them with an upside down cup and sliding a coaster underneath to ensure secure transport (unless they jump, then I make my partner do it, lol).

Mainly in your bed. But sometimes also in your ears.
