It used to be TV, controlled by governments (either “good” or “bad” governments), now it’s “asocial” networks that make you think what they want.
There used to be a “you decide what to do” internet, that was literally assaulted by big corp which are almost the new governments now.

I love (/s) how YouTube went from “If you want to see new content from this guy subscribe” to “If you want to see new content from this guy subscribe and click the bell icon” to “If you want to see new content from this guy subscribe and click the other, bell icon that will notify you about ALL new content (until we find a reason to filter that as well)”

The idea behind mentioning specific YouTube and Instagram content is that you only view content you selected aren’t fed.
That is kind of a bitch since you need to find content for starters.
