  That tracks for the old Fritz. But that picture annoys me. It shows somebody more Akin to Bismarck or Wilhelm II. instead of the very much beardless Frederick the Great and especially not with a Pickelhaube which is nearly a century later.

      His father was the one with all the burly men? Freddy GOATs was the arts patron and military genius who made sure his troops had a uniform that they looked hot in. The man who both made Prussia into Prussia and Berlin into Berlin
