Maybe you could make a game where you fight some stupid stick figure, but make the mod support of the game so smooth and effortless that all players actually replace Mr. Stick with whoever you want. Basically, when you click play, the game immediately asks which mods you want to load. Anyway, the game devs could also use an anonymous modder account and release an “unofficial mod” that adds Trump and Elon in the game. Is that plausible enough?

Thats hilarious concept really.
We call it “Punch Nazis” and because the Nazis claim that they are not and actually antifa is Nazis they cant possibly complain.
Inbuild character editing screen to shape a set of bad guys however you want. Then some community page to upload/download player made presets.
I non ironically have some experience in game development and would love to help make it real. Unfortunately my life feels like it’s collapsing on multiple fronts and i wont have the mental energy and time to do so alone.
What we are missing is a gamplay plan cause the funny aside that is most important but i figure a modern take on wolfenstein 3d kinda game might actually do.
Then we need a github to upload stuff and maybe a lemmy community to organize and brainstorm.

I do really enjoy the Sniper Elite games. Checked Nexusmods but nada, unfortunately. I’m honestly surprised there are none that makes them into enemies to take down.

Wouldn’t look at Nexus Mods for such things. They’re sometimes weird or overly cautious about what’s allowed on their platform, and I’m pretty sure that graphically executing current-day public figures would kinda go in their taboo zone.

In my mind, it’s a platformer, with a Cuphead style boss at the end though not in the same animation style, and a little faster moving.

It’s a WWII shooter, so at first you’re just mowing down Nazi cannon fodder, But Wolfenstein in particular deals with Nazis that were researching the occult and bioscience to create supersoldiers. What if all that mumbo jumbo was real? That’s Wolfenstein.

I’ve never beaten it, but I assume Hitler is at the end. Just need a mod to change the appearance of Hitler to have orange skin, small hands, and a blonde toupée and I’m golden.
