When you post as heavily as you do and act like a belligerent hall monitor in your comments you’re going to get blocked by people.
Whoever runs that instance got sick of you and banned you from it but luckily the way Lemmy works it barely matters.

It means its syncing the people banned from the instance to the local community, or at least thats how I parsed it with no backend knowledge.
Other instances can ban users; or even defederate with other instances based on their own discretion. This affects how these users can interact with their instance and only it.
A moderator on dubvee did ban your account from participating in any of the communities inside the instance named dubvee.
And that’s what’s so werid. I have never even heard of dubvee, or even know how to get there.
**Wait, is it possible that the guy who is showing me this “proof” of how “toxic” I am, actually owns an instance, banned me, and then decided to use that for proof?! Because his attitude definitely would fit the profile of someone doing that! And when I asked him what post did it, he declined to show me. Yet was happy to show the screenshot of the ban. Which I didn’t even know I had.
Yep, went back in time a month to do it too! Muahah
Whoops! Forgot to post the relevant part completely by mistake ;)
I’m honestly not sure what point you’re trying to make here. They were briefly banned, then the mods realised that was a mistake and banned the person they reported.
And then there’s the dubvee thing, which I’m not sure what that’s even about. Are they just blindly following the world admins?
You’re really bad at explaining things, by the way.
So you saw that they were permabanned from an instance for being toxic and you’re coming at me. All I need to know about you lol
But I posted the link to the thread, so they can see all of that.
Again, that’s the same thread I posted already.
I’d say a large chunk of the Lemmy userbase has been permanently banned from at least one instance, that instance being one of the .Ml domains.
Hmm, but any idea on what post would have banned me and I never received any notification. I did crosspost some socialist community articles to the .MI socialist community now that I think of it.
But I never got any negative comments nor any notification. But maybe it was because I crossposted an article?!
Because the user attacking me who showed the screenshot is trying to show how “toxic” I am, but I still have no clue and nothing in there says anything about “toxic.” lol
I mean, not that important. Since I didn’t even know I got permabanned from whatever instance it is, but just curious. Thank you!
Whoops! Everything about being toxic if they didn’t “accidentally” hide it: lemmy.world/comment/12216663
The comments aren’t loading on that post for some reason, so I can’t read what they’re saying for myself, but if this is their evidence, I’d say they’re full of shit.

I mean, the link is right there in the screenshot: dubvee.org/modlog?other_person_id=4948197&type=Mo…
You were apparently permanently banned from their instance due to being toxic, and what you’re seeing in that screenshot are the individual communities mirroring the ban from the instance to the community level. What “toxic” consists of is really known only by the person who issued the ban, and whether or not you even care is really up to you. It could have been for something legitimate, or it could have been completely bogus, and I’m not going to scour your comment history to try to figure it out; chances are you know what you did, and if you don’t, it’s probably just some mod on a power trip, who knows?

Actually no. I have never read of Dubvee, don’t know how to get to it, I don’t even know what it is. I am genuinely curious, which is why I posted here.
And no, it’s NOT that important, but a user is accusing me of being toxic and using that as proof, but with no post history to that community or anything. And as I said earlier, in addition to not even knowing what that community is, there are no posts or comments or notifications on my end.
My main instance is here on Lemmy.world, and I only recently even learned what instances were. Not that I am a moron, but I am still new to the whole fediverse model. I was just a reddit user that came here after the suck was just too much there.
And even then I had to follow step-by-step directions on how to set up an account. I’ve only been on for less than a month.
Which does make me sound like a moron, but I’m learning! Thank you for the reply. And no, you don’t have time to go thru my comment history. The majority of which is me arguing with this one user who alternates from saying I am a computer bot to russian operative living outside of the US and/or a secret Trump plant. Even tho I created and mod the socialist sub here on Lemmy! It’s been fucking wild couple of weeks! lmao

I’d just block that one nutter and move on. Are they here in the thread, by any chance?

I had a scroll through their modlog, they seem to ban a huge number of users from other instances, often with no reason given.
They’re also banning users from communities not on their instance, I don’t get how that works.
