I donât think anybody outside the US has ever been or ever will be interested in anything superbowl related.
Youâre talking out of your ass. I get our football might not be your taste, but a lot of folks from all over the world do like it. I was in a clan where a lot of folks outside of U.S were in. We had a channel set up on teamspeak that would make a sub channel when the superbowl was on. Had some Swedish, folks Brazil, and even 1 Japanese dude.
It was a good way for us all to come together and have fun over something.

Ha, but no. A gaming clan. I already got enough family thatâs hatefulâŚI wouldnât want anything to do with the klan.
I am not in, or from, the US and have watched the Super Bowl pretty much every year since 1984.
You are likely in an extreme minority across the world.
I mean, out of 8.3 billion people, sure, Iâm in a minority, but so are Americans. Like everyone in America is 4% of the global population and I know some people were tuning into that Kid Rock thing instead.
Thatâs just flat out wrong. Plenty of bars and pubs have Superbowl events here in Melbourne. In the US itâs Superbowl Sunday but what with time difference the game is actually played here around midday on a Monday, so many bars open specially for the game. They have chicken wing food specials and decorations and things.
If Iâm being totally honest I think some of the popularity might be that it gives people an excuse to take a day off work and go to the pub first thing on a Monday, but everyone has a good time.
Even people who donât go to events and donât care about the football will look up the halftime show on YouTube or whatever, especially last year when Kendrick Lamar played, or the Xmas game where Beyonce did a halftime show.
Career alcoholics donât count, they make an excuse out of anything.
I concur. Good to see thereâs a few exceptions (the other comments - glad theyâre all just having fun) but the exporting of American culture is sickening
