What, just like in the crisper drawer by itself? Wrapped around the item(s) you want to protect? Anywhere in the fridge?
I did a Google search and the recommendation is to put the paper towel over the mouth of the recipient the greens are in, or just shoved in the bag with them if that’s where they are.
OP seems to be mass-copying LPTs from someredditwhere or something.
At first I read “mouth of the recipient” as the person eating the greens

Just having a roll of paper towels is a powerful totem. Keep it within 100 yards of your fridge!
Wrap around and put in a plastic bag for best results in my experience. No bag necessary though, it will still last a while.
