- Comment on What's the point of constitutional monarchies? Why even keep the monarchy in place if they aren't even doing anything? 1 day ago:
I have given you a list of poor democracies that are ‘constitutional monarchies’ of some flavour or another.
My point is that you’re using correlation to prove causation.

Yup those are all European or European-colonial nations.
You don’t see countries such as Saudi Arabia, Morocco or Cambodia on that list do you?

???
What kind of idiot puts any substance into what name a country styles itself after rather than how it functions.

Uhhh mate our nation is literally dictated by another country and we don’t have genuine autonomy?
Maybe you’re happy with some inbred Brit fuck who thinks he has a god given right to own you and control your nation, I don’t.

Kinda like people focusing on petty crime and ignoring the fact that corporations steal billions from us.
We as a society give capitalism such a blanket pass, that we don’t even consider what it actually is.

Would not surprise me it’s Malware they asked ChatGPT to create, and moving it to Government machines.

No, he needs a Mastodon account ASAP.
BlueSky has the exact same issue as Twitter, corporate control.

Oh thats funny because they refused to take down the Sydney stabbing videos, despite being told to for months. They gave us a half arsed geoblock for Australia while still allowing the offending material to circulate.

Sure an hour ago I had watched a video about smaller scales and physics below planck length. And I was curious, if we can classify smaller scales into conceptual groups, where they interact with physics in their own different ways, what would the opposite end of the spectrum be. From there I was able to discover and search wikipedia for terms such as Cosmological horizon, brane cosmology, etc.
In the end there was only theories on higher observable magnitudes, but it was a fun rabbit hole I could not have explored through traditional search engines - especially not the gimped shit we have today.

We don’t have much of a left in Australia, Greens are the closest, Labor embraced NeoLiberalism and sold the country out in the 70s and has only moved further from its union/worker roots.

Buddy that’s great if you know the topic or keyword to search for, if you don’t and only have a vague query that you’re trying to find more about to learn some keywords or topics to search for, you can use AI.
You can grandstand about tools and what ever other Luddite shit you want, at the end of the day despite all your raging you are the only one going to miss out despite whatever you fanatically tell yourself.
