I’ve been running cardless for years at this point. Haven’t seen a wallet in yonks.
Still 100% the news was going for views and harping it up. I liked the byline however, ‘We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.’ really encaputaled my feelings of annoyance at the time.

More than 47,000 flyers were distributed in the Sydney electorate of Wentworth, held by the Teal independent and the former seat of Malcolm Turnbull.
[…]
The ABC reported that the content accused her of being weak on antisemitism.
47,000 pamphlets delivered to 47,000 is a fairly significant investment of resources.
What possible reason could some large group or organisation have to mass produce fake attack ads against someone not pro-Israel enough?

Centrists will um and aw over any positive change, but never look at challenging a right wing policy.

The subs are for defending Australia. They don’t purely operate in one fixed location.
The coastline missiles is OPs articles suggestion instead.
- Comment on Security without submarines: the military strategy Australia should pursue instead of AUKUS 4 days ago:
Okay, so go with other subs. Don’t go with this stupid idea that we can defend our coastline with missiles and drones.
- Comment on Security without submarines: the military strategy Australia should pursue instead of AUKUS 4 days ago:
A good defense is not neglecting your offensive capabilities.
Frankly slotting into a large allied force benefits us more than covering our massive coast line in missiles and drones.

What’s a parmigiana - A weak attempt to avoid taking a side on the Parma war?

What?
I’m suggesting you run these things locally instead of through some corporations servers.
- Comment on Facebook Pushes Its Llama 4 AI Model to the Right, Wants to Present “Both Sides” 2 weeks ago:
You can run Llama models for free locally, pretty much every AI player release stuff out there for everyone to use for free. It’s surprisingly “open” like that.
And you cannot run the real R1, that still requires a huge investment. It can run reduced quants, barely any different to the other current public offerings.
